I had great pleasure in accepting both Ralda and Ike's invite to provide their wedding disco for the evening reception.
After my initial contact with Ralda to discuss their bespoke requirements and venue details I was overwhelmed with her friendly hospitable manner, Ike is one lucky man!!
Both the Bride and Groom had decided on a intimate occasison comprising of family and close friends, my home for the evening was situated in a rather plush Marquee complete with a purpose built dance floor (Which was kept filled for the majority of the evening!).
We had agreed on a later start time of 9.30pm, upon my arrival to set up the equipment it is fair to say that the guests were definatly in the party spirit and the drink had kicked in, I opted for the Black starlite S&H booth which complimented the decor of the marquee, it was also the first opportunity I had had to use the new FBT speakers that I have recently invested in and they sounded awesome! (More pictures in the gallery).
Ralda and Ike did not wish to start their evening off with the traditional slow dance they prefered to kick it off with Pharrell Williams "Happy" as to allow the party to kick off with a full dance floor.
The wedding guests and family consisted of a large range of age groups whish meant the musical requests covered a broad spectrum of musical genres inclusive of 70's,80,s,90,s, reggae and chart music giving everyone the opportuntity to hit the floor!
We even had a couple of party girls requesting the ultimate cheesy tracks "The time warp" and "The Macarena"... if your reading this you know who you are!
We covered so much in our three hour slot , it was also great to be made to feel so welcome and I hope the guests enjoyed themselves as much as I did.
I wish both Ralda and Ike continued love and happiness for the future x
A special thank you must go out to the professional caterers who kept me fed and watered with premium pizza and Cider throughout evening.
